Yoga Built Entirely Around You
One-to-one sessions in the New Forest & Waterside, Hampshire
ONE-TO-ONE YOGA
Sometimes a group class is not quite enough. Perhaps you have a specific area of your body you want to work on carefully. Perhaps you have tried yoga before and found that certain poses simply do not work for your body as it is now. Perhaps something has changed for you through injury, stress or time, and you want support that is genuinely tailored to you.
Contact me to book a One-to-One session.
One-to-one sessions are where I do my most considered work. There is space here to go slowly, ask questions, and build something that is actually useful — not just in our sessions together, but in everything else you do.
Who this is for
People managing injury or physical vulnerability
If you have an ankle injury that limits your movement, a hip that has tightened after years of running, a back that needs careful handling, a one-to-one session gives us the space to work with that honestly. Not to push through it. Not to modify and hope for the best. But to understand what is happening, work gently around it, and build strength and range of movement over time.
I will never ask your body to do something it is not ready for. What we work on together can also be taken into your wider practice — so that when you come to a group class, you know how to adapt what you are doing rather than feeling like you cannot participate.
Got Questions?
Whatever has brought your body to this point…
A shoulder that limits your movement, hips that have tightened after years of running, joints that feel different since the menopause, or simply the accumulation of years, a one-to-one session gives us the space to work with that honestly. Not to push through it. Not to modify and hope for the best. But to understand what is happening, work gently around it, and build strength, mobility and confidence over time’ then ‘I will never ask your body to do something it is not ready for.
My training includes specialist study in the physical effects of the menopause, alongside broader work in injury, mobility and nervous-system support, so whatever has brought you here, it is territory I understand well. What we work on together can also be taken into your wider practice, so that when you come to a group class, you know how to adapt what you are doing rather than feeling like you cannot participate
People carrying stress, anxiety or the effects of difficult experience
Stress and difficult experiences do not just live in the mind. They live in the body — in the way we hold our shoulders, the shallowness of our breath, the sense of never quite being able to settle. Yoga, practised in the right way and the right environment, can be a genuine space for the nervous system to soften.
I am not a psychotherapist and I do not work as one. But I understand the connection between what we carry emotionally and how that shows up physically. My sessions are unhurried, non-pressured and safe. Whatever you bring into the room is welcome.
People returning to yoga after a break
If you practised yoga years ago and want to come back to it but do not feel like a beginner and do not want to be treated as one, a one-to-one is a good place to start. We can establish where you are now, what your body needs, and find the right entry point into regular practice again.
One-to-one sessions are £60 per session. If you are interested in sharing a session with a friend or family member, please get in touch to discuss what might work for you.
