Going a Little Deeper

Workshops and events in the New Forest

& Waterside, Hampshire

A few times a year I run workshops that go beyond what a weekly class can hold. Longer, slower, more immersive — a chance to explore breath, philosophy, movement and stillness without the clock running too quickly. Sometimes it is just me. Sometimes I work alongside other practitioners I trust, bringing their own expertise into the space alongside mine.

These events are always small and always considered. They are not performances or showcases. They are an invitation to go inward — and to come away with something that stays with you.

What to expect

Seasonal and contemplative practice

Some workshops follow the rhythm of the natural year — solstices, equinoxes, the pull of the full moon. Yoga has always understood that we are not separate from the world around us, and that our practice can reflect the season we are in — physically, emotionally and energetically.

These sessions tend to be slower and more reflective. There is usually time for meditation, breathwork and philosophical reflection alongside the physical practice. People often arrive feeling one way and leave feeling quite another.

Collaborative wellness events

I believe deeply in working alongside people who share the same values — care, integrity, a genuine desire to hold space well. From time to time I collaborate with sound healers, breathwork facilitators, massage therapists and other wellness practitioners to create experiences that draw on more than one discipline.

These events are a chance to experience something genuinely restorative, not just a yoga class with extras, but a carefully woven experience where each element supports the others. Details of upcoming collaborations are listed below.

Philosophy and Study Workshops

My teaching is rooted in a lineage that takes yoga philosophy seriously — not as something separate from the physical practice, but as the ground it grows from. Occasionally I offer workshops that go more directly into this territory: the Yoga Sutras, the relationship between breath and mind, the eight limbs of practice.

These sessions are for people who are curious about where yoga comes from and what it is really asking of us. No prior knowledge is needed — only a willingness to sit with questions that do not always have easy answers.

Are you a practitioner interested in collaborating?

I am always open to conversations with practitioners who work with integrity and share a similar approach, whether that is sound healing, somatic work, breathwork, nutrition or something else entirely. If you feel there might be a good fit, I would love to hear from you.

The best collaborations come from a genuine alignment of values rather than a transaction. If that sounds like how you work too, please do get in touch.

If you have only ever come to a weekly class and are wondering whether a workshop is right for you - it probably is. Workshops are welcoming to everyone, regardless of experience. The only thing you need to bring is a willingness to slow down for a few hours.

If you have a question before booking, you are always welcome to get in touch. There is no pressure and no script, just a conversation about whether this feels like the right fit.
